Travel Insurance policies may provide a combination of coverages such as Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Trip Delay, Emergency Medical Benefits, Medical Evacuation, Loss or Delay of Baggage for unexpected complications that may arise before or during travel.

 

To include waiver for pre-existing medical waivers or bankruptcy/default, Insurance typically  needs to be purchased at time of trip deposit payment. 

 

Policy benefits vary between the various Travel Protection Insurance providers, as well as their various plans. These are also subject to differing State regulations where the traveller purchases travel insurance.
